The season has seen Ainsley played variety of positions moving from central Midfield to the right back position to cover up for Hector Bellerin when he was injured until Cedric was bought from Southampton.
He also played in the left Midfield position, left wing back and in some matches has seen him play central Defence too.
His major attribute that has been key to him being an undropable figure in Mikel Arteta team is his strength, pace and tackling ability. His man-marking ability has made him so undropable in the team he was crucial in silencing Mohammed Salah in the game and therefore silencing the potential of Liverpool attack.
Although it is reported Arsenal are looking forward to sell Ainsley Maitland-Niles to wolves so as to strengthen other lacking areas of the squad.
