Tuchel Makes final Decision on Saul Chelsea Future following important Announcement

The Spaniard has not been what we all hoped he would turn out to be following the Numerous media hypes in recent years linking him to Manchester United to be Paul Pogba succesor should the french man leave Manchester United for greener pastures.

His last two years in Spain playing for Atletico madrid has been nothing to write home about, he has turned out to be an opposite of what he used to be and has suffered an immense dip in form for the past two years almost being a liability in the Midfield setup.

Coming to chelsea one would have predicted almost accurately the spainard would find his long lost form once again given that all three of his competitors in the position he would play in are injury prone players unable to play all games.

Unfortunately he misused the little bits of opportunities allocated to him by Thomas Tuchel to shine and maybe claim a spot for himself since N’golo Kante has been out of the team due to injury for most part of this season. Instead Thomas Tuchel is gradually entrusting that patience to Academy graduate Loftus Cheek and Chelsea Midfield sensation Ross Barkley to fill that spot in the Midfield.

What is then Saùl fate in this chelsea setup and what would be his future since he is no longer needed at Atletico madrid.

Thomas Tuchel seems to have answered that almost perfectly as he believes Saul still has a chance to prove his capability and almost started for chelsea although due to Tactical reasons he preferred to keep the spainard fresh for yet another game.

“I will always do my choices in the best belief for the team and best belief in this moment and for these type of games. There will always be tactical choices and choices of current form and of connections on the field.”

“Particularly about Saul, he was very, very close to start today [Saturday]. In the end I decided against him…”

“I thought to put him [Saul] in another high pressing match, an opponent pressing so high in the centre of the pitch, would it be fair to say ‘okay, now prove it and let’s see if your adaption has gone further’ and I hesitated a little bit.”

“I have to take the selection and take the responsibility for the selection and eight players today [Saturday] did not like it. It is also life at Chelsea and we have to keep on going and keep everyone positive.”

“The guys have to work for their form because form is most important – form and confidence and a positive attitude. He [Saul] has everything.”

Alas the spainard still has a chance to impress Thomas Tuchel and all hopes are that he turns out to be what he used to be at his peak at Atletico madrid.
