Manchester United would be looking to put their midweek disappointment behind them as they gear up to face West Ham United this weekend.
The Red Devils are joint top of the Premier League table with 10 points out of 4 games and they would be looking to continue in that fine form on Sunday.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was speaking to the media earlier today in his pre-match press conference and he’s dished out some early team news.
Manchester United striker Edison Cavani is not in contention to start the game as the Uruguayan has been ruled out with an injury.
Solskjaer: “Edinson [Cavani] hopefully will start training with us after the weekend, maybe Monday, so maybe involved on Wednesday.”
Manchester United have an injury boost meanwhile as Solskjaer has confirmed the return to fitness of both Alex Telles and Scott McTominay who are now training and in contention to make the team vs West Ham.
Solskjær: “Scott [McTominay] and Alex [Telles] have joined in training this morning fully. They look good. Of course we need to have them go through a few sessions before we can consider if they’re going to be available.
Marcus Rashford meanwhile is still out with a shoulder injury.
