Team news: Solskjaer confirms Ronaldo’s debut tomorrow as he reveals injury doubts for the game against Newcastle

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to the media earlier today in his pre-match press conference and he’s revealed the players available and those unavailable for Newcastle’s visit.

When asked about Ronaldo, Solskjaer admitted that he’s sure the Portuguese would be making his second debut for Manchester United tomorrow.

He will get on the pitch at some point tomorrow that’s for sure.

Another player who has been cleared to face Newcastle is Jadon Sancho who initially had a minor knock but has trained with the United squad for the last couple of days.

Solskjaer also confirmed that goalkeeper is fit as “He has not got the tiredness anymore”. Meanwhile long term absentee Alex Telles isn’t 100% fit yet and would still remain out for a few weeks.

Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay would be fit to play as he has recovered very quickly according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Brazilian midfielder Fred might be a non injury absentee for tomorrow’s game as he’s one of the 8 premier league Brazilian players whom the Brazilian FA triggered a FIFA ban on. Solskjaer has said they’d make plans without Fred but the manager is hopeful the Brazilian players are cleared to play.
