Manchester United host Aston Villa in one of the early kick-offs tomorrow as they look to maintain a brilliant start to their premier league campaign this season.
The Red devils would be hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s set back which saw them exit the Carabao cup early after a one nil defeat at home to West Ham.
Both teams would be heading into this one on the back of mid-week losses and early exits from the Carabao cup as both sides suffered defeats in the hands of West Ham and Chelsea respectively.
Both teams won their last Premier League matches though as Man Utd beat West Ham 2-1 away from home while Aston Villa ran out 3-0 victors over Everton at Villa Park.
Manchester United head into this one with an almost 100% clean bill of health as they have no new injury concerns from midweek.
The Red devils are further boosted by the return of striker Edison Cavani and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did hint at the Uruguayan playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Aston Villa on the other hand would be without Jamaican superstar Leon Bailey who has been ruled out with an injury till after the international break.
John McGinn could though return for the Villans after the Scottish midfielder recently declared himself fit after he had sustained a knock against Everton last weekend.
Man Utd Predicted xi: De Gea; Shaw, Maguire, Varane, Wan-Bissaka; McTominay, Fred, Pogba; Bruno Fernandes, Cavani, Ronaldo
Aston Villa predicted xi: Martinez; Targett, Mings, Konsa, Cash; McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Buendia, Traore; Watkins, Ings
Aston Villa are no doubt a good side as they’ve caused a team like Chelsea problems in the two recent encounters they’ve had this season and their 3-0 win over a good side like Everton last week is just a testament of their quality and capabilities.
Man Utd meanwhile have the quality and experience in personnel to face any team in the world and anyone would fancy them to deal with whatever threat Aston Villa would be able to pose.
It won’t be a walk in the park for Man Utd though.
