Manchester United would be in high spirits as they host Everton in the premier league in what promises to be an exciting game at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Red devils recorded a hard fought 2-1 win over Villareal in the Champions League on Wednesday and they’d be looking to consolidate on that result and get return to winning ways in the premier league this weekend.
The last couple of weeks have been quite a rollercoaster for Manchester United as they suffered a disappointing one nil loss at home to Everton last weekend, a loss that came after another one nil defeat that saw the Red devils exit the carabao cup last midweek but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s charges did bounce back with a win against Villareal on the continental level in midweek.
Everton meanwhile beat Norwich 2-0 last weekend, few days after they exited the carabao cup by the instrumentality of a penalty shootout loss to championship side QPR.
Everton are currently 5th on the premier league table, level on points with Manchester United who sit in 4th position just above the Tofees on goal difference.
Manchester United are set to remain without Marcus Rashford for this one as the game against Everton comes too soon for the forward who has returned to contact training for the first time since he sustained a shoulder injury in the summer.
The Red devils might also be without Luke Shaw who missed the champions league game in midweek due to Injury. The left-back’s involvement tomorrow will be subject to assessment from the Man Utd medical team.
Also Donny Van de Beek might not Start for Manchester United nor feature in the game.
Everton on the other hand would be without star strikers Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison for the trip to Manchester as both players are ruled out due to injuries.
Everton coach Rafael Benitez also confirmed the unavailability of Séamus Coleman and André Gomes due to injuries while Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi has been said to be a doubt for tomorrow’s game.

Both sides have been good this season and Everton under the tutlege of Rafa Benitez look a well drilled size. However, the Tofees would be missing too many key players this weekend which means Man Utd are expected to have the edge.
