Five (5) Tactical Mistakes Tuchel Made that Limited Chelsea Chances of Winning Tottenham

The match ended in a 1-1 draw in the Preseason tie between chelsea and Tottenham with goals for chelsea coming from a brace by Moroccan superstar Hakim Ziyech, Tottenham replied with goals coming from Lucas Moura and Bergwijn ending the match in a 2-2 draw.

Thomas Tuchel made 10 substitutions during the game fielding two teams for chelsea and that limited their Chances to win comfortably as the players could not bond easily with themselves or better still get to Understand themselves in the pitch during the game.

Tuchel maybe on his Tactical board should have seen and known that players would not be able to blend well playing limited time together.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Preseason Friendly Tuchel thumbs up

Tottenham on their part made just four Substitutions with the players understanding themselves for most part of the 90 minutes.

Eduoard Mendy wasn’t on his best of form during the game as he conceeded two goals despite his Job made easy as he was being Defended by 7 outfield players (3 center backs, 2 wingbacks and 2 Defensive Midfielders). Kepa coming on was what was expected from Thomas Tuchel to do during the game but he Failed to make that change and instead trusted Eduoard mendy to man the Goalpost for all 90 minutes of the Encounter.

Thomas Tuchel also failed to field the starting XI that gave alot of Tactical problems to Mikel Arteta few Days ago when chelsea won Arsenal convincingly with a 2-1 Scoreline, Pulisic was on the bench and only came on in the opening minutes of the second half.

Werner isn’t the man to solve chelsea Goalscoring problems, the German has been unable to pose a goal threat for chelsea ever since he was bought from Rb Leipzig in the Bundesliga where he almost dominanted, he was subbed off for malang Sarr in the 63rd minute of the Encounter against Tottenham for his unproductivity in front of goal, a replacement should be the most important demand Tuchel makes to the Board during the summer transfer window if he intends being chelsea Manager for a very long time.

CHELSEA STRIKER OPTION FOR NEXT SEASON!

Lukaku to chelsea is rumoured to be a Done Deal as the player told the Board to accept the right deal from chelsea if it comes also it’s Reported by Fabrizio Romano a very reliable Transfer News journalist that Romelu Lukaku has agreed personal terms with Chelsea as he intends to return to chelsea. Well we can assume we already have a Timo Werner replacement on the doors already.

What happens to Tammy Abraham and hopefully Armando Broja if Romelu Lukaku to chelsea deal eventually happens?

It is also Reported that Inter are looking at Atalanta Striker Duvan Zapata to be an instant replacement for Romelu Lukaku if the chelsea deal happens, while Atalanta would go for Chelsea Striker Tammy Abraham as a replacement for the outgoing Duvan Zapata, well that settles it for Tammy Abraham as Thomas Tuchel doesn’t trust him atall to be the man to score the goals for the team he intends to build Next Season or even in the future.

Well what about Armando Broja? What would happen to the man who was hyped to a revelation for next season, we Think with Romelu Lukaku coming today chelsea next season the chelsea Striker might have to go to the eredivise for one more loan spell for game time and experience and hopefully develop into that player that would return to being the player to take up the number 9 jersey at chelsea.

MAN OF THE MATCH (Chelsea VS Tottenham)

One few Positives of the game against Tottenham was Hakim Ziyech zeal to claim a man of the match performance as he showed Tuchel he had what was needed to claim a starting role for next season in Tuchel plans.

Trevor Chalobah also was solid during the game and fans on Twitter praised him and encouraged Thomas Tuchel to retain him for next season and give him the chance to being the fourth Defensive Midfielder for chelsea and abandon plans to spend an outrageous fee on overhyped Defensive Midfielders.
