Man Utd midfielder, Donny Van De Beek has struggled for game time since his move to the club from Ajax last summer.
Van De Beek has only played one game this season, coming off the bench in Man United’s 4-1 win over Newcastle last weekend. And Man Utd coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his delight in the Dutchman’s attitude.
The gaffer has hinted that Van De Beek might start in Man United’s first UCL game against
“I’m really pleased for everyone who came on [against Newcastle]. Donny [Van de Beek] had his first taste of minutes with a crowd – what Man Utd [really] feels like.”
“He [Van de Beek] keeps working hard, he’s such a professional and top lad and he’ll get his minutes. Let’s see what happens on Tuesday.”
Van De Beek is part of the Man Utd squad traveling to Switzerland to face Young boys fc in the club’s first UCL game of the season on Tuesday and he’d be hoping for a start.
