The mood around the Manchester United has been nothing short of positive in recent weeks.
There is a high level of optimism around the squad and with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo a couple of weeks ago, there is just little wonder as to the current state of things.
According to reports, Man Utd are close to reaching a contract extension with Paul Pogba, David Ornstein reports that the club’s recent activities in the transfer market and the arrival of C. Ronaldo has played a huge role in Pogba wanting to stay at Man Utd.
The Frenchman’s current contract was due to expire by June next year and he was reportedly keen on leaving the club but a new contract now looks very very likely.
Bruno Fernandes meanwhile is another player who might just sign a contract extension at Man Utd. According to Fabrizio Romano, talks have been on since July for a new contract for Bruno and a new contract is considered as priority alongside Paul Pogba’s. And the club would want their Portuguese magnificio to sign a new contract by the end of the season.
