Chelsea host Manchester City in what promises to be an epic showdown in one of the early kick-offs on Saturday.
Chelsea would be looking to keep their unbeaten run intact and remain top of the table while Man City are looking to mount the pressure and get back to winning ways after a disappointing draw against Southampton at the Etihad last weekend.
The Cityzens have now received an injury boost ahead of the clash with the blues as Nathan Ake, Rodri, and Aymeric Laporte have all been reported to have returned back to training, meaning Pep Guardiola would have an array of options to choose from ahead of the game.
Pep Guardiola has lost to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in their last 3 meetings against each other as the Blues edged out the Cityzens in 3 different games in 3 different competitions; premier league, FA Cup and Champions League with the latest one which was the champions league final at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto, Portugal proving to be the most significant.
Chelsea therefore head into this one with a psychological advantage over their opponents. Though, with Pep having almost a full squad to choose from, things won’t get any easier for the blues.
