Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku was the man of the moment on Sunday night for Belgium as he reached 100 appearances for the Belgian Red devils.
Heading into the game against Czech Republic, Lukaku was looking to keep up his impressive form for the national team that has seen him bag 66 goals making him the nation’s all time highest goal scorer.
And just 8 minutes into the game, Lukaku scored on his 100th Belgium appearance taking his tally to 67 goals for his national team and it was his 50th goal in his last 50 games. Prolific.
Former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard was on hand to double Belgium’s leed before the interval and both Lukaku and Hazard were at the heart of things again as they combined to set up Alexis Saelemaekers for his first Belgium goal.
3-0 was how it ended in favour of Belgium on the night with Romelu Lukaku grabbing the headlines.
