The Premier League match of The Blues against The Baggies at Stamford Bridge was a tough one for the Blues at Home.
The American winger started the game against The Baggies and fired the first goal since December giving Chelsea the lead, though the Blues had a defeat losing 5-2.
After coming out for second half, Pulisic had a discomfort before he signalled to Tuchel that he could not continue in the game.
The Blues boss, however revealed what happened saying;
“Christian did a sprint when he came back out for the second half and said that he felt his hamstring would not survive the game if he continued.”
“So we had to make the decision to sub him right away.” – Tuchel
He was replaced by Mason Mount who clinched a goal but Tuchel suffered the first defeat in charge at the hands of The Baggies.
The Blues will play the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Porto FC on Wednesday.
