Following Chelsea’s large transfer spree last summer, the Blues don’t seem like they are going to relent in the coming summer transfer window.
Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard spent in excess of €200million to bring in six first team players last summer.
The Blues followed that with an inactive January transfer window in terms of incomings. The January window also saw the sacking of Frank Lampard and the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as new manager.
Chelsea have had a good run of form under Tuchel, winning 8 out of 12 games, drawing the rest and keeping 10 clean sheets in the process.
The recent performance will have no doubt impressed the board as they will be feeling motivated to further invest in the squad.
According to a report from The Daily Star, Chelsea want to complete the squad with Gigi Donnarumma, Erling Haaland and Kingsley Coman this summer, so they plan on selling a few fringe senior players to raise around €200m.
The players Chelsea will be reportedly willing to sell are Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Emerson.
Asides Tomori who has a €25million option to buy clause on his AC Milan deal, a potential destination is yet to be known.
Emerson is the second most likely to leave this summer, having played just one game out of twelve under Thomas Tuchel.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is next in the pecking order as the Blues will not hesitate to sell the Spanish International once they get a good offer.
Christian Pulisic is the least likely to leave on the list. Despite starting just one league game under Thomas Tuchel, he has gotten assurances from the German coach that he is an important member in his team.
