Just right after Donny van de Beek’s strange shirt number pick, its been confirmed that Manchester United young duo have changed their shirt numbers.
Mason Greenwood and Brandon James will be putting on new shirt numbers when United opens their 2020/2021 season against Crystal Palace on 19th September.
Having made visible the importance of his involvement in the Red Devils squad, Mason Greenwood will switch from his number 26 jersey number to officially number 11 as he looks to extend his 17 goals for United.
Its an honor jersey number for the Bradford born forward as he would be the Fourth player to be in the shirt in the Premier League era. Taking on from his predecessors, Giggs, Adnan Januzaj and Anthony Martial.
On the other hand, Brandon Williams will take on the number 33 jersey as he upgrades from the former number 53 following an impressive season for the Old Trafford side.
Having made 35 appearances for the Red Devils, Williams will get back to action soon as he heals for a foot injury which stopped him from participating in England Under-21 internationals.
