According to recent reports from Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ac Milan have now made it clear to Chelsea that they plan to trigger their option to make Tomori’s move to the San Siro a permanent one.
The England international struggled for playing time at Chelsea before leaving on loan to AC Milan back in January, where he’s got his career back on track with some top performances.
The loan deal included an option for AC Milan to sign the defender permanently in the summer for a fee reported to be around €28million.
The report further adds that Tomori himself has also indicated to the Serie A giants that he will be ready to complete a permanent transfer away from Chelsea.
This news will come as a huge blow to the Chelsea fan base as majority had high hopes for Tomori at the club.
This will surely be a tough decision for the Chelsea board to make as they are stuck in a dilemma of selling Tomori or sending him back on another loan given he will still be surplus to requirements next season.
