According to reports, Chelsea are set to offer England midfielder, Mason Mount a new mouthwatering deal.

This is according to 90min who have gathered that the Chelsea hierachy is already planning on meeting with Mount and his representatives which includes his father.

The 22 year old became a regular in the 2019/20 season under Frank Lampard after a fruitful loan spell at Derby County under the same manager a year before.

Mount was voted by Chelsea fans as the clubs player of the year last season as he played a key role in his team’s successes especially in Europe and he has also been a mainstay in the English national team ever since his breakthrough season a couple of years ago.

The midfielder still has 3 years left on his contract but Chelsea are reportedly set to offer an extension before the expiration, an offer that comes with a significant pay rise that would see Mount’s current wages double.
