According to reports form Italian media today, Manchester United and Chelsea both have an interest in signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
FcInterNews. It states that Skriniar’s excellent performances for the Nerazzurri this season have led to United reigniting their past interest in signing the Slovakian.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are on the lookout for a replacement for centre-back Thiago Silva, who has impressed in his first season but cannot continue forever at the age of 36.
It was further reported that any interested club will have to pay at least €50 million if they wish to sign Skriniar on a permanent transfer.
Skriniar has already been linked with Manchester United today, after Corriere dello Sport claimed the Premier League side had demanded him as compensation after Inter missed a bonus payment for Romelu Lukaku.
The Red Devils will be looking to get an ideal partner for their record signing defender Harry Maguire, and Skriniar is on their shortlist.
