Breaking: Ronaldo breaks another champions league record

Manchester United are set to play Young Boys fc of Switzerland in less than an hour’s time and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed his starting lineup for the game and Ronaldo starts as expected.

Donny Van De Beek also gets his first start and just his second appearances of the season in what looks like a very strong side named by Ole.

Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to break a champions league appearance record by being named on Man Utd’s starting lineup tonight..

The record for most champions league appearances has been held by former Real Madrid goalkeeper and legend, Iker Cassillas. The Spaniard who was a teammate to Ronaldo at Real Madrid made 177 UCL appearances for both Real Madrid and FC Porto.

It is another record and milestone for Ronaldo who is the record goalscorer in the champions league. The five time Balon d’or winner has scored 135 goals across spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.

At the age of 36, Ronaldo just can’t stop breaking and setting records and this most recent milestone is just a testament of why he’s called Mr. Champions League.
