The first leg of the contest was a bit dramatic as chelsea got a 2 goal to nil win over Atletico Madrid with just 10 players on the pitch. Atletico on their part got two penalties in the first leg but they were unable to get it past Ann-Katrin Berger.
The second leg of the tie was honestly quite boring with Chelsea staying compact and trying to preserve their advantage they got in the first leg of the tie.
Chelsea got a penalty in the second half to add to the advantage they had in the first leg which was converted into the net by Maren Mjelde, Atletico Madrid further replied with a fantastic shot by Emelyne Laurent who came as a substitute.
