Arsenal set to sign on loan Southampton Right back permanently

Arsenal are interested in making the deal of the Portuguese right back permanent even though he hasn’t started a game for the gunners ever since he was brought on loan from Southampton in the January Transfer window this season.

Arteta is keen on having Cedric Soares deal made permanently by the Arsenal board as he has been impressed in the ability the player displayed during training sessions and in his time with Southampton and he see’s the player as a viable upgrade or backup to Hector bellerin who has been injury prone for the past two seasons.
A move by Arsenal for the player means he would be gotten on a free transfer as his current contract with Southampton expires in the end of june.
