Atletico Madrid have been firm about their decision and price tag on Arsenal transfer target, Thomas Partey but appears current situation might force them into lowering price.
According to reports, the Wanda Metropolitano side are although still firm on their decision about Thomas Partey but its believed they do not have enough funds to chase after a top transfer priority.
Atletico Madrid have marked out Espanyol’s Marc Roca as a must but reports disclose the Spanish side lacks enough fund to push the deal through and Thomas Partey being the most promising source of raising the fund they have on ground now, Arsenal might have their bid lowered.
Thomas Partey is also at the other hand wanting for a move outside of the Spanish borders and this might help facilitate that faster should Atletico agree to let go of the Ghanaian for a price lesser than they earlier on demanded.
Gunners are although clearly in need of Partey’s services but haven’t been able to raise funds to materialize the move after landing Lille’s Gabriel Magalhaes. Attempts to sell off some players to raise funds have also been on hold as bids are still ongoing.
In the coming days, we will find out the outcome of Atletico Madrid’s current situations and how that has affected Gunners Thomas Partey chase.
