Arsenal are reportedly looking to clear some players out of the club in the next two weeks.
Amongst those who might be sold are under-performing midfield duo Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira , with the Gunners valuing them for a combined value of around £67million, according to the Times.
Arsenal could do with clearing these players out, with the north Londoners unlikely to enjoy the same level of funds as many of their rivals this summer.
Torreira is reported to be a £27m target for Fiorentina and Have gotten interest from roma as they are looking to swap him with diawara, while Guendouzi has an asking price of £40m and is being linked with Valencia, though the La Liga club seem to prefer a loan move for the moment.
Arsenal won the FA Cup last season but there’s no masking that they flopped in the Premier League, securing their lowest ever finish in 25 years as they ended up with a final position of 8th in the league table.
Mikel Arteta is well aware of his need to strengthen this struggling squad, and offloading unconvincing players who have failed to perform like Torreira and Guendouzi for £67million could do the Spaniard the world of good.
