Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has called his time on his stay at the club over.
Martinez has confirmed that he will leave the club this summer after penning an emotional message to the club’s fans.
The news came after been informed by Mikel Arteta that Leno would be the club’s No1 and he’s asked to leave the club in search of a first team play elsewhere.
“Now I’ve had that feeling whee, I had my chance at Arsenal” The Argentine said
“Season after season I was always trying to come back to the club I love to try and have my chance.”
“I’ve done that, I wanted through all the parts of frustration because of football is not always easy like everyone thinks.
“I said to my family, I said to my teammates, this is my time. I’m 27years old, I’ve got loads of game on my back, the talent was there, the power was there, I just needed confidence and I had it”
Aston Villa is set to sign the goalkeeper after falling down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta’s goalkeeping talent.
