According to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has promised to bring highly rated young Norwegian striker Erling Halaand to Chelsea if the blues finish the season in a top 4 position.
Haaland is the object of desire for many clubs as the Norwegian striker from Borussia Dortmund has few options to remain in the Bundesliga despite the crisis that plagues European football.
One of the coaches who have already called for him is Stamford Bridge newcomer Thomas Tuchel.
The German spoke with Roman Abramovic, owner of Chelsea, to let him know that the Nordic striker is his priority heading into the end of the season.
And, according to Corriere dello Sport, Abramovich, who was already interested in Haaland before Tuchel’s arrival , would have promised his arrival on one condition: that he manages to classify the team in fourth place in the Premier League.
The mission is difficult, but not impossible. The blue team is eighth next to Arsenal and the fourth classified (a Liverpool in low hours) is seven points away.
To achieve the challenge, Tuchel could dream of Haaland. But without the income that playing the Champions League would not be possible to try to tie Haaland.
