Tottenham Hotspur are set to receive a major injury boost as two of their key players are poised to return to full fitness ahead of the London derby against Chelsea on Sunday.
According to English football journalist, Matt Law, both Son Heung-Min and Eric Dier are hopeful to be fit to face Chelsea.
Son Heung-Min missed Tottenham’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace after picking up a calf injury while on international duty while Eric Dier had to come off injured early in the game against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Both Dier and Son have been one of the key performers under coach Nuno Espirito Santo this season and their return could give Tottenham a boost and make the North Londoners fancy their chances of beating an unbeaten Chelsea on Sunday.
Son Heung-Min was in top form after scoring 2 goals in 3 premier league appearances for Tottenham and Eric Dier’s 3 clean sheets in 3 premier league games is an excellent record.
London derbies have always been pulsating, more so when Tottenham and Chelsea take to the field. Sunday’s game scheduled for 4:30 pm is certainly gonna be a big game with the calibre of players on parade for both sides and Son returning to the Tottenham fold alongside Eric Dier could even make things more interesting and more difficult for Chelsea.
